Kids in Need Resource Center
|
| The Broward Education Foundation opened the Kids In Need Resource Center, part of a national program sponsored by the School, Home, and Office Products (SHOPA) Foundation for Educational Excellence. The program provides free school supplies and funding to aid students and teachers in low-income, under-funded schools.
Since it’s opening in January 2001, over 6,100 teachers have accessed the center that includes notebook paper, pens, pencils, computer software, teacher supplies and much needed school supplies worth over $2 Million.

| Volunteer to Shop
In exchange for volunteering 3 hours, an educator who does not qualify to shop under our criteria may earn a Kids in Need Resource Center shopping certificate through our Volunteer to Shop program.
Volunteer for a Teacher
Our Volunteer to Shop for a Teacher program allows an individual to volunteer on behalf of a teacher to earn a shopping certificate for that person. Once an individual volunteers for 3 hours, Kids in Need Resource Center will send the designated teacher a shopping certificate at their school.

Take 15th Street and make a right into parking lot. (Brick Building)
Please enter through the back door.
Heading south on Federal Highway, it is two blocks past Davie Blvd.
