How You Can Help The Broward Education Foundation:
- Buy an Educational License Plate! The Broward Education Foundation receives $20 from the sale of each education license plate sold in Broward County and from renewals each year!

- Education First Payroll Deduction Program, the Foundation administers a successful Payroll Deduction Program in Broward County School District which provides an opportunity for all School Board employees to make contributions to the Broward Education Foundation. Funds benefit students, teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and support services personnel, and will further promote excellence in education.
- Designate the Broward Education Foundation as the recipient of your United Way contribution. Just check the box for the Broward Education Foundation on your donation card.

BRACE Scholarship Celebration
|
| The 14th Annual Scholarship Celebration will be held in May usually the Friday of Mother’s Day weekend.
The Foundation works hard to create a signature event that is not only successful in raising the much needed scholarships for this year’s graduates, but provides all the participants a chance to relax and have fun in a casual setting. We will also be showcasing some of our great student talent from the performing and creative arts.
Sponsorship Opportunities are listed below:

| Since the creation of the BRACE Scholarship Fund in 1985, the Broward Education Foundation has provided over 3,150 scholarships to graduating high school seniors, totaling over 7.2 Million.
The Foundation receives over $53,500 annually through the License for Learning Program.
Project Opportunity Scholarship Fund is generated through the Payroll Deduction Program. This year, the Foundation awarded 16 scholarships totaling over $9,600.
Since it’s opening in January 2001, more than 6,100 teachers have accessed the center that includes notebook paper, pens, pencils, computer software, teacher supplies and other much-needed school supplies worth over $2 Million.
The Broward Education Foundation became an IMPACT II site in 1996. In the twelve years, the Foundation has awarded over $786,960 in Disseminator, Adapter, and school-wide grants to 1,937 teachers. IMPACT II teachers improve classroom instruction by disseminating and adapting successful programs and ideas. With help from the all our sponsors, over 125,287 students, many of them from low performing schools, have benefited from involvement in IMPACT II projects in Broward County over the past twelve years.
In addition to awards of $7.2 Million in scholarships to high school seniors, the Broward Education Foundation’s initiatives have contributed to teacher grants, classroom supplies, and district-wide recognition that provide opportunities for individuals to develop their potential skills. The Foundation serves as a catalyst for educational excellence.
